I had planned on holding off on making my birthday wishlist post until May, but due to some demand, I’m writing this up now. Some of these things you may recognize from past lists, but others are items that I’ve been coveting since the beginning of the year when I decided to practice a very strict “no frivolous purchases” rule (it’s been going great btw).
Apple Gift Cards or a new Macbook
Edited to add this in (you may have seen the tweet). So for the past few months my laptop has been a little buggy and as you know, time flies and it’s now quite old. I’m hoping to replace it soon. I’d greatly appreciate this as it’s my preferred implement for writing in general as well as answering emails.
Custom sized fencing jacket.
As some of you have experienced firsthand, I have some pretty unique anatomy. I’ve been fencing in an off-the-rack jacket for a year now and I feel like it’s really impeding me and now that I’ve stuck with this interest I think it’s time to get a custom one made. There are a lot of measurements and specifications that go into them so I’d appreciate a gift card to Purple Heart Armory. The jacket itself is approximately $400 with taxes and shipping and the website allows for gift cards to be purchased in a myriad of increments from $25- $500. Introductory Sommelier Course & Examination
The Court of Master Sommeliers has started in person courses again! They will be offering the introductory course and exam in Boston this August. I’ve been dying to write a blog entry about silly little goals of mine and this is one of them, I have an appreciation of wine but I’d like to know more. Last year someone got me one of the most touching gifts I’ve ever received, a longsword from sign. It’s served me well and I absolutely love it. I however have been training a lot with saber this year and sign has released a line of sabers. There are 3 styles, the pro is the one I’d like and features a cup around the handle, this is the one I want because finger protection is fucking nifty. I’d love it with a green hilt and a brassed or blackened cup.
This is a brand from France that isn’t incredibly popular in the US yet. I tend to favor brands that are understated and not easily recognizable so this is perfect for me. Yeah, this one is on the list again. In case you didn’t know, I travel a lot. If you travel frequently it’s imperative you have good luggage. I have a few pieces of Rimowa luggage and I think the brand is fantastic and boasts incredible customer service and a very generous warranty.
Heat treatment tends to destroy hair, especially the ends. I’ve found that this particular product does wonders for this issue.
While a lot of you do tend to love my lips this product helps keep them full and luscious and I think might be the best way to manage upkeep between injections. I love Dr. Naomi’s products, almost as much as I love her, and this is the newest one to her line.

Donations to Support the Citizens of Ukraine
I posted about this specific group of people on twitter not too long ago. I’d appreciate any donations in the form of money or military surplus items. The people of Ukraine need help more than I need things. This group is flying items on civilian commercial flights to Poland and hand-delivering items to the Ukaine, if you’d like to learn more I encourage you to read this article about their processes.
